Equipment

  • mason jar or container with lid
  • – Spoon

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add rolled oats to a jar or container.
  • Pour in the milk and add Greek yogurt.
  • Stir in chia seeds and honey or maple syrup.
  • Add the blueberries and gently mix everything together.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Stir the oats in the morning and add extra blueberries or toppings before serving.

Notes

Use rolled oats for the best texture since quick oats may become too soft. Fresh or frozen blueberries both work well, and frozen berries release extra juice that naturally sweetens the oats. If the oats become too thick in the morning, stir in a small splash of milk. Overnight oats can be eaten cold or warmed briefly in the microwave.
