Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan For heating water
  • 1 Mixing bowl For combining ingredients
  • 1 Whisk Helps dissolve gelatin
  • 1 Glass container For chilling gelatin mixture

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hot water Not boiling just steaming
  • 1 tbsp Grass-fed gelatin Unflavored e.g. Great Lakes
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar Raw unfiltered with the "mother"
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice or puree Fresh squeezed or blended fruit
  • 1 tsp Pitaya powder optional Adds color & antioxidants
  • 1 Natural sweetener Stevia or monk fruit to taste

Instructions

  • Heat 1 cup of water until hot but not boiling.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk in 1 tablespoon gelatin until fully dissolved.
  • Let the mixture cool for 1–2 minutes.
  • Stir in the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and optional pitaya powder.
  • Add sweetener to taste.
  • Pour into a glass container and refrigerate for 3 hours or until set.
  • Cut into cubes or spoon into jars. Enjoy 30 minutes before meals.

Notes

This Dr Oz gelatin weight loss recipe is flexible: swap lemon for lime, add berries, or infuse herbs like mint. For best results, eat 30 minutes before dinner. Avoid boiling ACV to preserve benefits.
