Equipment

  • 1 Glass cup or mug Heat-safe for warm water
  • 1 Teaspoon For measuring pink salt
  • 1 Stirring spoon Optional, for faster dissolve

Ingredients

  • ¼ tsp Himalayan pink salt Fine grain preferred
  • 8 –10 oz Warm filtered water Not boiling just warm
  • ½ Lemon optional Freshly squeezed

Instructions

  • Heat filtered water until warm but not hot.
  • Pour into a glass mug.
  • Add ¼ teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt.
  • Stir until fully dissolved.
  • Add lemon juice if desired and stir again.
  • Drink slowly on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.

Notes

Always use Himalayan pink salt, not table salt.
Start with ⅛ tsp if you’re salt-sensitive and increase as tolerated.
Best consumed within 10 minutes of preparation.
Not suitable for high-sodium-restricted diets without medical clearance.
For variety, you can add a pinch of cayenne or a drop of raw Canaan honey
